The Problem with Bluefin

Lack of interoperability

Defragmentation of assets in the DeFi space is still very high. Users cannot use native BTC, ETH, DOT, etc in one protocol.

High fees and overcollateralization

On average, users are required to surrender 180% of the loan value in collateral to protect from liquidation. On top of this, to interact with many existing DeFi protocols, users are required to pay enormous fees for contract execution

Lack of usability

There exists no simple, all-encompassing, intuitive UX required for accelerating mass adoption
